Henry Gillis
Assistant Program Manager, Special Projects
Henry Gillis first joined KTA in summer 2021 as an intern working on special projects and returned in 2025 in a supportive role as a researcher and consultant. He collaborates with KTA’s project managers and executive staff to identify and assess needs in areas as diverse as competitive vendor and supplier pricing, organizational structures, and data management and reporting systems. His skills in SharePoint, Obsidian, Microsoft Dataverse and other software programs have helped streamline essential KTA project management and reporting systems.
Before KTA, Henry served as Product Development Intern for Metana, where he developed business strategies for new AI products; conducted research to identify policy issues and regulatory developments for blockchain, AI, and Web3 products; and simplified data cleaning and formatting procedures for data use and distribution. As Business Strategy and Product Design Leader for LaunchX in NYC, he focused on thermoelectric waste recycling in urban environments; researched biological processes to accelerate composting and decomposition of a wide range of materials; and represented the firm at a symposium of angel investors in New York City.
Henry received a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Library Research Certificate from Emory University, Goizueta Business School in Atlanta. His coursework centered on Data & Decision Analytics, Process & Systems Management and Behavioral Neuroscience.
Henry, a native New Yorker with some proficiency in Spanish, has dual citizenship in the US and Germany. When not working, he enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, tennis, PC gaming, and creating and tinkering with FPV drones. His interest in technology has manifested in a desire to harness potential uses of artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency and blockchain.
