Chanho Yoon

Vice President and
Director of Program Management

Chanho Yoon directs the most complex assignments in KTA’s portfolio. He has a meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of technical criteria for residential projects. Chanho has been managing high-end residential projects for KTA in and around New York City since 2008. His latest projects include out-of-the-ground townhouses in Greenwich Village and on the Upper East Side, apartment renovations near Central Park, and a country house in upstate New York. Project sizes range from 7,000 to 20,000 sq ft. He also spearheads the development of the firm’s proprietary business systems.

Prior to joining Karen Thomas Associates, Chanho worked for the firm PMG Architects for 13 years as project manager for several high-end hotels and mixed-use buildings throughout the United States. Projects included the 92-story Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago and the Delano Hotel in Miami.

Chanho was educated in New York City in both architecture and structural engineering at Columbia University, The Cooper Union and City College. When not working, Chanho’s a family guy who loves playing with, and setting up activities and lessons for, his two young children. He likes to build houses — and spent six years in hands-on renovations of his home in the Berkshires — and enjoys biking, including his 12-mile commute to work each day.
